Things to know before you fly
 
Get to the airport on time
Enquire at your travel agent about the possibilities of a bus transfer to the airport. Should you decide to drive to the airport yourself, it is possible to leave your car at the airport during your holiday. For a smooth check-in, it is required that the passenger arrives at the airport at least 120 minutes before the scheduled departure time. To check in, a valid ticket and passport is required. After these documents are presented, a boarding pass is issued for the passenger.

Check the weight of your baggage
Passengers are usually entitled to carry up to 20 kilograms of checked baggage. The exact quantity is specified on your ticket (under “allow”), or enquire at your travel agent.

Dangerous items in baggage
For safety and security reasons, several items are not allowed in baggage or on passenger’s person
in checked baggage:
matches, cigarette lighters
sprays etc. with pressurized air
flammables – paints etc.
explosives, fireworks
corrosive chemicals
in cabin baggage:
weapons, including toys or replica
catapults
household cutlery
razor blades
tradesman’s tools
darts
scissors (of any size)
corkscrews
syringes
knitting needles
sporting bats/clubs
billiard or snooker cues
nail files/manicure sets
matches, cigarette lighters – allowed only on person
